Government Management Training Center was established on July 18, 1348, in order to train managers and train administrative system techniques in implementation of Note 3, Article 44 of the National Employment Law. The operation process of the center at a glance is as follows:
Before the Islamic Revolution (1348 to 1357):In this course, the Public Administration Training Center provides justification training for the recruitment of university-educated employees. Government programs and the training of managers and supervisors (especially high management courses) were focused. Also, short-term management courses in English were held in Tehran for managers of regional countries. As of 08/02/1351, the Higher Education Development Council of the country issued the license for the first long-term training course in the master's degree in public administration through Resolution No. 23/91/9 dated 08/24/1351 for the Public Administration Training Center. Until 1358, master's courses were held in the fields of financial management, information systems management, education management and public administration.
From the Islamic Revolution of Iran to the integration (from 1358 to 1381):After the Islamic Revolution, long-term courses were removed from the educational activities of the center and the members Academic staff and students were transferred to Allameh Tabatabai University. With the new design of short-term educational programs with the Islamic spirit and thinking, once again the pre-appointment training programs. And special training courses for experts and managers (basic, intermediate and advanced) have started.
Merger period (from 1381 to 1389):</span >In July 2013, following the merger of two "Administrative and Employment Organizations of the country" and "program and budget organization" With the title "Management and Planning Organization of the Country" Based on Resolution No. 13/655 dated 04/03/1381 of the Supreme Administrative Council, the integration of the "Public Administration Training Center" with the research institute in planning under the title "Higher Institute of Education and Research of Management and Planning" approved. This institution held short-term trainings for government employees at the same time as long-term bachelor, master and doctorate trainings.
Approval of the new statute (since 2015): In 2015 and after the return of the "administrative and employment organization of the country" and "program and budget organization" As its main and past names, "Public Administration Education Center" According to the statutes approved by the Council for the Development of Higher Education (promulgation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology), in a situation where most of its resources, including the printing house, the building of Abbas Abad (the current governorate of Tehran), the buildings and equipment of provincial centers, manpower and members The faculty had been transferred to other institutions and started working with limited facilities. During this period, with the formation of the board of trustees, center council, steering committee, research council, educational council and council and other sub-committees, the educational and research activities of the center were revived.
